Charming snuff bottle in porcelain. Showing a boy with a hat, holding a flower and an instrument. Beside the boy a duck in yellow. Condition: The bottle in very good condition, but the plug is missing. Measurement: 6.8 cm = 2.7 in
This wonderful and whimsical snuff bottle is delicately painted with a man playing an instrument on one side and a man with birds flying above on the reverse. It has writing on both sides as well. Both are dressed in flowing robes with cranes. Age undetermined. My best guess is the early 1900's.
19th century Chinese white/gray jade snuff bottle of rectangular section carved with a bat and Immortality Fungus on one side, and a lengthy poem on the other. Very well carved and hollowed. True nephrite jade, very pleasant matte surface, beautiful brown streak incorporated into design, carnelian stopper, ivory spoon. Height with stopper 2 3/8 inches.
A large bottle of meiping form covered with an attractive crackled glaze in imitation of the fabled Song dynasty Ge glaze. The slightly concave base is unglazed and shows some nice wear to the exposed porcelain. No stopper.

A very finely modeled and unusual carved porcelain snuff bottle with crackle glaze and depiction of playing foo dogs, on a ground of waves. First half of the 19th century. Ruyi borders to base and mouth. Some fritting to high points, and an old repair to the mouth, see photos. Coral and silver stopper. A rare bottle. Measures approx 7cm tall, without stopper.
